1) A computer. I know that goes without saying, but you might be surprised how many people would not realize this. It doesn’t have to be the latest Dell monster gaming rig or anything like that, just a fairly modern computer will do-as long as it’s less than about 8 years old you should be fine.
2) Games are typically very large files to download, so you need a high speed internet connection. The old “Dial-up” will work but you will be downloading for a very long time.
3) Some stuff you are looking to download. When you see the range of downloads available, it’s really easy to find yourself a little overwhelmed. On my first few trips to a game download site I came away empty handed because I just couldn’t decide what to choose first. Avoid this by having a good idea of which Wii games you want to download.
4) The games have to download from somewhere. This is probably the toughest part, as it seems that most households have a computer and decent speed internet these days, but most people really don’t know where they can safely download games. The problem is that most people’s first though when they decide to download games for Wii is to get them from a torrent or P2P site. This is really not a good idea-A it’s illegal, and B, sites like that are a real haven for hackers and spammers etc. You’ll really be inviting some nasty stuff into your computer, which can then obviously be passed to your Wii.
5) Fortunately, recently a much better alternative is available. There are revolutionary web sites that have all of the Wii games available for download. It is totally legal and legit as they say. You are charged a one time fee to get access to the download area of the site. You can also find much more than just games, you can get movies and Television shows there as well. Because the sites are monitored you can be assured that the files are in good condition unlike the P2P and torrent sites. These new services are the best way to download games for the Wii.
