Snoring. It’s something we all grow up knowing about. Granddaddies snore after Thanksgiving dinners.

Moms tease dads about their snoring and sometimes it’s mom who snores. The point is, snoring is quite common. At some point we have all snored or known of someone who did.

What we cannot all readily discern however, are the reasons behind snoring.

“The Stop Snoring Exercise Program” forced me to examine various causes of snoring and incorporate them into the system.

Reasons we snore

First of all, it may be hereditary. That’s right; certain physical characteristics may just be family traits we can’t avoid.

Certain deformities in the nose or enlarged parts of the throat may contribute to snoring.

For those approaching middle age, snoring becomes much more prevalent as the throat narrows and muscle tone relaxes. Being born male will increase your chances of snoring.

Sinus interference such as a stuffy nose will cause snoring. And that will cause restless sleeping.

Contributors like that are not within our control.

Other culprits are within our realm of control. Some of those include our physical sleep disposition, certain medicines, habits such as smking etc.

Effects of Snoring

Anyone who snores does experience negative effects as well as those who are around it.

The person who snores often self imposes exile to another part of the house when sleeping or is sent off by others who cannot tolerate it. It creates a division of people who are supposed to be partners.

Our physical and emotional well being suffer.

We’ve been subjected to enough statistics and studies to know how vital tranquil sleep is. Snoring prevents that by interupting the sleeper.

Which Type of Snore Do You Have?

Snoring with a closed mouth can be the result of tongue position. It can deter air passage.

Back snoring is very common and can be alleviated by switching sleep positions. If your mouth is open when snoring, it may be the fleshy throat area creating a disturbance.

When snoring occurs in all sleeping postures and mouth positions, additional issues may present.

Improving your physical condition or bettering your sleep posture will help a large number of people who suffer.

I tailored my Stop Snoring Program for ease of learning and use. Easy daily exercises can lead to peaceful sleeping tonight!
